	The half of Omrazir known as '''Dawn''' lies on the east side of the [[~~Tamrasset\|~~River Tamrasset]] and is the older part of the city. Dawn is characterized by noticeable extremes of wealth, ranging from the refined enclave of the [[Kingfisher District]] overlooking the river to the decaying [[White City]] set atop the Shining Hill. It is also home to the largest part of the city's indigenous population, a mix of the [[Tessouare]], [[Razmani]], and [[Yehani]] peoples who have inhabited the area since ancient times.
