COMMAND allows you to issue commands to an NPC over which you have some kind of influence. This could be an animal with loyalty to you, an NPC servant you have retained, or an NPC belonging to an organization in which you are a member of sufficient rank.

Usage

COMMAND list
These are the things you may command an NPC to do:
lean, sit, stand, assist, kill, guard, block, go, swim, climb, push, pull, touch, subdue,
rest, mount, dismount, salute, bow, curtsy, give, get, drop, take, stop, flee, carry, drag,
sheath, draw, aim, shoot, retreat, charge, move, jump, leave, follow and forage

COMMAND <NPC|all> to <command text>

Example:

> command all to aim monster emote levels an arm towards the monster to the north and screams to the archers, "AIIIIM --"
> command all to shoot monster emote lifts her arm to make a fist, ending her previous command with the sharp bark of, "FIRE!"

Notes

If you want to command all present NPCs over which you have authority to act, use 'all'.

You may also append emotes to your commands, which will cause the default text to be overridden by your written emote. Writing an emote will halve the balance time that it takes to issue the command and adds more flavor to the command, so it is recommended.

To command roleplaying actions such as SAY or EMOTE, you will have to have ownership over the NPC you are commanding. In these cases, the commanded emote will be shown as an action performed by that NPC rather than as a command issued by you. You can't make animals talk, but otherwise you can use the command command to OOCly have retainers or pets emote.

If you try to command someone without the requisite authority, they will probably lose affection for you, unless they enjoy disrespect.
