BOLT allows you to travel very quickly in a series of random directions, taking you several rooms away from your current location. It is good for making quick getaways but can leave you disoriented or stuck in a dead end!
Alternately, if you know exactly where you want to go you can use SPRINT instead to travel in a straight line quickly. Unlike BOLT, SPRINT doesn't work unless you specify a direction.
Usage
BOLT
You bolt <random direction>.
BOLT <direction>
You bolt <direction>.
SPRINT <direction>
You sprint <direction>.
Notes
As you BOLT or SPRINT, you will pass through a number of rooms at random until you either get tired or reach a dead end:
You bolt north.
Everything passes in a blur.
You bolt southwest.
Everything passes in a blur.
It's a dead end! You come to a stop.
The number of rooms you can travel with a single use of BOLT or SPRINT depends on your character's Endurance stat.
