The DIAGNOSE command allows you to look someone over and diagnose any wounds or other afflictions they might have. It can target single body parts, and may be used on yourself as well.
Usage
DIAGNOSE <target|self>
DIAGNOSE <target>'s <body part>
DIAGNOSE my <body part>
Notes
- While you can see wounds on yourself or other people by simply using LOOK or GLANCE, DIAGNOSE can provide you with more in-depth information on a wound. It can also discern and identify other afflictions besides wounds. DIAGNOSE can only be used outside of combat, however.
- What you can discern using DIAGNOSE is dependent on your First Aid skill.
- You can diagnose afflictions that another player has set on themselves using the INFLICT command.
- If you're diagnosing yourself, there will be no message to the room, but if you're diagnosing someone else they will see that you glance over them.
