Known to most simply by the pejorative name of "moonies", these wanderers call themselves the Rovara and do in fact rove across much of Avaria. They are often peddlers, tinkers, and entertainers, as well as mystics. According to their oral traditions, the Rovara are the progenitors of the Ruvans whose great empire has given its name to the continent of Ruvera and left its cultural and linguistic stamp upon many of its present-day countries. However, the Rovara view the ancient Ruvans as tyrants and mourn for them and their descendants as kin who tragically lost their way.
Appearance
Those of the purest Rovara lineage generally have swarthy or dusky skin and dark hair and eyes, but there are few physical types that fail to find some representation among this wide-ranging people.
