Plew-on-Sea
Plew-on-Sea is a seaside village in the kingdom of Ensor, located along the Wayfare northeast of the town of St. Loomis. Although not very large, it is notable for being the place from which the ferry boat to Windhaven Monastery docks. It serves as a waystation for travelers, most notably pilgrims and other visitors to the monastery, but also for people arriving late to the village who find the additional miles to St. Loomis too far to travel in what remains of the day. Plew's residents consist chiefly of peasants farming the surrounding land, a few merchants supplying the needs of both locals and travelers, and friars from the nearby monastery. Its most significant landmark is the Blessed Wayfarer hostel, run by friars who also man the small commissary that shares the same building.
