Rassi Plateau
All of Raziya sits atop the Rassi Plateau, except for its northern Adelantean coastline and the area immediately around El Gedz. The border between the lowlands and the plateau is not pronounced, as the land gradually rises in tiers of open rolling hills, a region known as the Plain of Storms. The climate of the Rassi Plateau is extremely arid, and extremes of temperature are much more marked in comparison to the coastline. It is dominated by three still higher tablelands that run north-south: the Sharizaar Massif, the smaller Tamrasset Massif to its east, and the Cliffs of Paradise that line the Gulf coast. The River Tamrasset cuts sharply through the center of the plateau on its journey to the sea, and though in most places it runs below the surface of the land, its moisture nevertheless supports a few Razmani settlements, the greatest of these being the town of Alheri.
