Plain of Storms
The long coastal plain of Raziya, called the Plain of Storms, stretches across the northern edge of the province from just past Soubeg in the west, to the metropolis of Omrazir and the Sidi Mircasset oasis in the east. Along with the Sidi Mircasset itself, the plain is the province's chief agricultural region, receiving relatively generous winter and early spring rainfall from the storms rolling off the Adelantean Sea. Small grains are grown here, in particular the dought-resistant teff that can weather the heat and drought that follow the rains, and olive orchards are plentiful. A variety of vegetables are also grown here, which help supply the clamoring markets of Omrazir. The terrain of the Plain of Storm gradually rises from north to south, eventually dissolving into the Stormbreak Hills the in turn become the Rassi Plateau of the interior.
