Get command

GET allows you to pick up items, or to take them out of containers or off of room objects like tables or shelves. It is the most basic of the handling commands.

Usage

• GET <item>
  
• GET <item> from <container|room object>

Notes

GET can also be used with parentheses for additional flavor:

>get stick (grumbling crossly about how nobody ever cleans up after themselves around here)
You pick up a silver birchwood stick, grumbling crossly about how nobody ever cleans up after themselves around here.
