Kingfisher District

The neighborhood of the old blood of Omrazir, as well as some wealthy merchants of impeccable pedigree, the Kingfisher District is located in the East City close to the Bazaar of the Nine Winds. The district consists of two smaller neighborhoods, one lying above the east bank of the River Tamrasset, and the other off the Via Fortuna directly adjacent to the bazaar. A scenic locale filled with artificial pools and waterfalls, formal gardens, and elegant townhouses in the style of the caliphate's golden age, Kingfisher has a great deal of charm and could not provide a greater contrast to the squalor and misery of the White City looming to the northeast.
