The PULL command can be used to pull at objects in the surrounding environment, or to pull on people. When used on other people, PULL has a variety of uses such as pulling someone into your immediate vicinity, pulling them upright from a seated or prone position, or pulling them down into a seated position. The related command YANK functions identically, but gives a rougher flavor to your actions.

Usage

PULL/YANK <object|person>

When pulling a person in another vicinity, you will pull them into your own immediate vicinity:
PULL/YANK <person> (target is in a different vicinity)
>pull vagrant
You pull a shadowy vagrant over to a spreading yew tree.

If the other person is sitting down and you are standing, you can pull them to their feet:
PULL/YANK <person> (you standing, target sitting)
>yank vagrant
You yank a shadowy vagrant up to stand nearby.

If you are sitting and PULL on someone who is standing, you can pull them down to sit near you:
PULL/YANK <person> (you sitting, target standing)
>pull vagrant
You pull a shadowy vagrant down to sit nearby.

Emotes can also be used with PULL, to replace the standard message with your own emote:

PUSH <object|person> emote <emote>
>push wall emote goes over and directs a hard shove at the wall, grumbling angrily.
You have emoted: Nemi goes over and directs a hard shove at the wall, grumbling angrily.

Notes

  • PULLing or YANKing a person will put you in 30 seconds of roundtime, giving the target a chance to react.
