Rent command

The RENT command allows you to rent a room in any establishment where lodgings are available. To do so, find an inn or apartment building or a place with a ledger and a clerk that rents lodgings. You can tell if a place has rooms to be rented with the SURVEY or CHECK LODGING commands.

Usage

RENT
Will show the status of anything that can be rented.

RENT ROOM / LODGINGS / PLACE
Try to rent a room at the lodging.

PAY RENT
Pay your monthly rent wtih coin on your person.

PAY RENT FROM BANK
Pay your monthly rent directly from your bank account.

CHECKOUT
Turn in the key to a room.

Note that all rental commands must be entered at the appropriate lodging establishment in the room where the ledger is kept.

Notes

• When you first rent a room, you must have the amount of your first month's rent on hand to pay up front.

• Lodgings in the Faded Zone starter area will not cost you anything.
