Bad Form

Ah, sorry, I hope it didn't come off like I was criticizing/chastising you! That was totally not my intent. I was just trying to explain something that I myself only learned too late in playing Avaria; I made a lot of IC choices I'd have played very differently if I'd understood Avaria's RP pacing and norms. But I might have hedged my words too much trying to make sure it didn't sound like I was dumping on Avaria, so perhaps I came off defensively. If so, apologies! I also don't mean to warn you off the game, either. It's a worthwhile endeavor asking yourself what you get out of RP, but only you know the answer, and sometimes the answer surprises you. Like I generally am a highly-active plot and event-driven player, but here I still am like 10 months into Avaria because I HAVE discovered more enjoyment in the ultra long-term pace than I expected.

No worries, it's my ego speaking- it's not liking something that is true to my ownself. I start to voicalize whatever is on my mind.

There is a lesson that I feel that I learned here; just be up front when joining communties on what happens to you when you don't like something or how you really are, instead of just saying, "hi, I'm new here". Being up front on my first day at my current job did help my supervisor to understand me.

Well, I'll say this: I'm pretty much always down to RP, and I'm usually a lot faster than our last scene! (I, uh, I had forgotten I was on hook to make dinner that night and was frantically trying to prep while RPing. My bad.) So please do feel free to reach out/catch me any time.
