Rumors of safety, of sacrifice.

There's a rumor going around the ship — twisted in retellings, perhaps — that the drowned spirit haunting the bilge and presenting riddles in rope has offered a path to safety. But only for a fraction of the ship. What exactly does that even mean?! And will the shouting about it in the Forecastle be all that comes of the offered possibility? |
