"A group of foreigners were seen accompanying Otty Smythe, the Farrier and Wagonwright, to the lumber camp earlier today. That young foreign smith's apprentice was there with them, too. What business would Otty have at the lumber camp? Might this be about that town hall announcement from days past, something about the mines?"
