On the evening of the New Year, a number of locals are seen entering the Seaglass Inn, where word had gotten around that all those furren folk were putting on a feast and everyone was invited. For whatever reason -- maybe plagued by worried feelings that they should have been nicer to the furreners if they want the furreners to trade with them in turn, or maybe just wanting to see if any prize milk cows are being heathenishly roasted and et -- quite a goodly number of St Loomisites show up, looking about themselves with curious interest and trepidation, but eventually making their way over to the trestle table that is laden with unusual yet tempting fare. In spite of their nervousness, they enjoy a few bites of the food, nod their cautious thank-yous and so-ons to the feasting furreners, and depart peaceably with one more New Year's memory to add to the eventful day.
