Some idle chatter in the marketplace and streets spreads about a young foreign boy, one of those barbarians who came in with that strange ship, seen carrying an injured woman through the streets and the Grand Bazaar! That lean man with the inky-dark eyes was with them, and apparently helped them as the barbarian lad yelled at the poor first aid vendor, in *terrible* Sirdabi, for an absolute mountain of bandages and supplies. Then they carried her off! There are implications made as to where she might have been taken, and for what purpose, because who knows what those ignorant uncivilized Northerners might get up to, after all? Especially with a helpless, injured young lady? One might hope that someone respectable intervened on her behalf before anything terrible happened. And how did she get injured in the first place, anyway? She was all bloodied and beaten up! Speculations of all sorts are bandied about, but no firm conclusions reached, just gossip traded and bandied about, as usual.
