Balancing thoughts after arena testing 1 of 3

I couldn't think of exactly what fit as a title cause I might think of more later sooo here we go!

As part of testing, we tried to see if a character being grappled or choked can stab the aggressor, and they can not. They *can* draw a knife from a sheath. With struggling out of either being a unarmed strength roll, it feels a bit unfair if the aggressor has no penalties and can't be stabbed.

Presumably a character being picked up is lower in strength and weight, which in testing we can directly drop characters in harmful ways. (Directly into a campfire rather than things like push needing a roll.)

My initial thoughts are struggling could roll additional stats or skills of some kind.

(More thoughts later probably.)

Grappling/Choking: Yeah, this is something I had trouble with when attempting to strangle people. Pof Dog reported the issue first, and then later I had to manually set stances on everyone I was stranglin' so that they could adequately retort with their knives if they thought of it (everyone did). :toolbox:

Nice point on the picking up / dropping!

Ty!

Awww yeah knifey responses.

The person in said campfire can yank/pull the other into so... maybe that would be fair heh.

One other suggestion was for blocking to require standing. My arena character couldn't flee combat, as the other would move to block them even on the ground.

I believe I submitted this, but the arena helpfile was not available logged into an arena character.

Edited to add thank you to the players that joined for shenanigans and testing.
