RPT: The Escape (Warning: Spoilers) Log Discussion

Thanks for posting logs. It was a very long event and so cleaning/sharing a log was a tough hurdle, much appreciate you, pof Ighlaf. That one from Basira cracked me up when I saw it going on too. :D 

I just wanted to make a note to point out that rumors aren't super reliable and certainly not the be-all, end-all IC announcement about anything that happened, so PCs should definitely go ask each other in-game about events! The rumor spotlit one character... but there were many there who contributed in a plethora of different ways that couldn't be captured with just one log, due to hidden emotes, private emits and thoughts, and the fact that people were split up in the commotion -- and that the Mistwatch and delegate group, who would've been the original source of whatever couple remarks that caused the rumors, showed up pretty late in the fray. And the RPT even began out of sight of anyone who wasn't north of Plew. I think the next PC who witnesseed it was watching from the battlement atop of the northern gate of St Loomis. And it was only after the action arrived at the Greyleigh manor that we put out the area-emit so that any PC in the zone could get involved.

All in all, despite the bugs, this was really fun for staff to run. And if your character was there, you should notice some substantial reputation updating that occurred! If your character wasn't there and you want to get involved, reach out to us via OOCMail or petition or story request and we'll find ways to hook you in. <3

Regarding rumors it is clear the truest mvp is missing.... or more like horse, Sahar. Very willful and brave horse! 

I was very pleased to end the log post enjoying the last character emote in it.

That bloody horse is my biggest regret and the bane of my life.

They sure are willful!  Rip and bless you for the horse shaped bug testing.

(I laughed when the horse tried to get into the manor and was stopped by the guard.)

It's honestly kind of hilarious how the horse keeps attacking poor Ariziya, to be honest. I actually don't even know what happened the last time but I should probably make it so horses attempt to murder their riders less.   Meanwhile if that happens incongruously, it's getting retconned, so any would-be horse owners can be assured of that. XD

Seriously, I spent most of the combat trying to find the stupid thing because weird stuff kept happening and I kept losing it. Not sure that's like having a real horse!!
