Yes, it is that time again: grand melodramatic public cutscene time!
This one should play out fairly similarly to last month's Announcements from the Mistwatch (Pt 2) cutscene: starting a few days before the event "actually" takes place in Avaria, with major events wrapping up before the end of that day so people can roleplay about it that evening.
In Avaria time, this event will be taking place on New Year's Day, Pavana/Laeca/April 1st. My current plan is to start the cutscene sometime tomorrow (Saturday 3/29), which will mostly just be setting the scene and posing various characters in. I'll be busy with other things most of the day on Sunday, so PCs will have time to show up and interact before things really get going on Monday 3/31.
Again, I will try to get through all the actually important stuff before Tuesday evening, though there may be some minor wrap-up going into Wednesday morning. But hopefully people will be able to roleplay New Year/Feast of Reunion things on Tuesday evening if they want to, with their characters knowing everything they should from events earlier in the day. And like last time, any character who doesn't attend would be very likely to hear news of what happened before much time has passed.
