Up on deck, word's getting spread around about some impromptu surgery. Apparently, Rostam Marzani (that man does cause trouble) just sat down and drove an arrow-head into that healer, Rahat - the one with the pretty brown hair. Drove it right into his skull. Word is, he's going to be lashed for it, though some people are saying Rahat literally asked him to do it. Something about seeing the future? Or feeling the wind? Accounts vary.

Even more confusingly, it seems that the noble Irzali youth was involved too, maybe holding Rahat down or aiding with whatever madness the sellsw.ord was doing. His protector, the big Salawi woman, was seen scrubbing blood out of his gloves afterwards...
