Hi, I usually stay as far away from OOC contact as possible (except when clarifications are needed for RP) but since the forums will be used as an extension of in-game play, I figured I might as well give a brief intro.
I started playing MUDs because one day out of nowhere, I thought to myself, "Do text-based games exist?" Years later, here I am -- a potato in a wonderland of words.
I've got crippling agoraphobia (diagnosed and all) which means that traveling or going outside makes me panic, nauseous, and gives me chills. Which is a bummer because I loved to travel once upon a time. On the bright side, I get to do all my adventuring in the games I play instead, whether it's riding horses in Red Dead or watching the ocean aboard a ship made of text. So I'm looking forward to learning about everyone's stories IC!
