First off: apologies to the person whose character is named Zara. I didn't even look at this forum before I picked my character's name. But Zara/Zahra/Zahrah is a lovely name, so kudos to you for having good taste.

Let's see. I'm always terrible at these sorts of things. I've been RPing for entirely too long. I got my start on Yahoo chatrooms (showing my age) and swiftly shifted to play-by-posts. I eventually found MUDs around 2011 and that was pretty much it for me. I loved getting to RP in real-time and single scenes not taking a whole RL year to complete. But I brought my forum-based verbosity with me. I try to keep it short and snappy these days, but every now and again, I might slap you in the face with a novella so apologies in advance. It generally means I like your writing, though, if I end up accidentally drowning you in words.

I love small details. They honestly tickle me! Like the fact that your character's scent transfers to their clothing here. I've also been getting a kick out of ordering all the drinks from the cantina in the Faded Zone and just loitering in various rooms to see what ambience messages might end up showing there. I'll try to submit more typo reports as I catch them.

Um, what else... I, too, prefer spelling grey with an e as opposed to gray, even though I'm an American. Superior spelling for sure. I think my favorite place in the Faded Zone is Standing Within a Strange Brook. I'm honestly excited to see what the real game world looks like after seeing how much detail went into this starting space.

I enjoy writing (obviously), worldbuilding, and listening to other people gush about their worldbuilding. Obscure pieces of lore are my jam. I think my favorite thing about RPing as opposed to just writing a novel by my lonesome is getting to see other people's character concepts and delving into what makes those characters tick. I love when people surprise me (like truly surprise me) with a plot twist I never saw coming.

Hi. I'm a rambler.

Uh... yeah, I think that's about it. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in-game once this alpha properly kicks off!

You've got one of the awesomest sdescs I've ever seen in my life, and sorry for mistaking you as a pan. broken heart

Looking forward to seeing Zahra both influencing stories and living her own story in the alpha phase!

Honestly, one of the most hilarious OOC moments I've ever had in a MUD up to this point. I'm looking forward to more pan mistargets in the future!

So everyone else can get a chuckle out of the confusion because, not gonna lie, I laughed hysterically IRL:

>A shadowy vagrant picks you up and carries you in both its arms.

>A shadowy vagrant says, "Oh shit."

>A shadowy vagrant drops you near a kindly, person-sized toolbox.

You thump to the floor near a shadowy vagrant at a kindly, person-sized toolbox. Oof!

>A shadowy vagrant says, "Ahem."

>A shadowy vagrant says, "Sorry, I was trying to GET PAN."

You say, "I'm laughing so hard."

>A shadowy vagrant says gleefully, ".. lol it is pretty hilarious."

You say, "Pantherine is a great word, though. I have no regrets."

>A shadowy vagrant says, "It really is, your sdesc is badass."

You say, "THANK YOU. I'm pretty chuffed with it."
