Some Tailoring Suggestions 1 of 2

Just a compiled list of some suggestions to improve the tailoring craft in various and sometimes very specific ways:

  • Make it so wooden buttons act as proper fastenings for cloaks/pants/etc. that need fasteners, as they currently aren't appropriate.
  • A store in St. Loomis that sells appropriate leather bolts/material and leather ties needed for certain patterns. There's a tannery by the lumber yard that seems like it might be a good place!
  • A way to see what sort of materials can be used in a pattern when you view it. I'm not sure how reasonable it would be to code this in, but it would save having to buy random bolts of fabric and hope they work for the pattern you're making.

Thanks to Pilgrim and Mistsparrow for building all this too, it's been lots of fun so far!

A couple additions after playing about with the crafting system some more:

  • Some randomized colors for bolts of fabric sold at the weaving shop in St. Loomis/elsewhere, so everyone doesn't have to wear purple wool!
  • Expanded types of fabric for use in things like cloak. It takes wool, but it seems like fabrics like frieze or flannel would also be acceptable since they're thicker wool-like types.
