05/12/2024
* JOBS output updated with the 12th being the day of getting paid.
* Hopefully fixed the Monday-midnight activity data bug.
* You should now be able to properly cover small heavier objects (such as metal jewelry) with larger items.
05/11/2024
* Moving in a different direction after beginning a journey should now end the journey.

* It should no longer be possible to cover large items of raiment with smaller items of raiment.
* Small edits to HELP JOBS in order to update documentation to current functionality.
* Refined ores should now update their short descriptions to show accurate amounts.
05/09/2024
* A new type of crime added: 'illicit trade'.
* Guard patrols in St Loomis should hopefully be working now, as the guardhouse is a proper organization with organizationally-kept doors (previously the doors were just locked, which was stopping the guards from moving through, and halting their whole patrol in the barbican).
* A new reputation has been added: 'criminal'. 'Fence' has been added as an ability to Shady Arts, along with 'Crime', which is a way to get a handle on the zone's criminal ongoings without it constantly being appended to every survey. Relevant information to one's specific room will still show on SURVEY, such as which sort of items might be fence-able in an area.
* There was a typo in a method that meant nobody was ever experiencing drunken ticks, which is fixed now.
* Uncultivated plants should fade back into the background a lot quicker now.
05/08/2024
* Fixed a bug with time and season for skies.
* Turbans should be properly colored in long descriptions now.

* The Mistwatch veteran in the Faded Zone now speaks in Ruvic.
* Fixed hammer issues in forging messages.
* New pitfighters will now generate wearing linen wraps, to preserve the modesty of female fighters who were previously fighting while only wearing loincloths. Thanks pof Ariziya for this fix.
05/07/2024
* Some bugs with staff building commands have been fixed in preparation for some story-addressing projects.
* SNPC assignments will now go with OOCMailed information to the player.
05/06/2024
* It's no longer possible to save seeds from plants (it is supposed to be done with the fruit rather than the whole plant), and now 'some of' won't be endlessly added to the sdescs of things that seeds are saved from.
* Some shop items still had sneaky zeroes! Corrected the ones that have been reported, thanks to pof Firouzeh.
05/04/2024
* Interact emotes using $me and @ should work properly now, without always adding a self-reference at the start.
* Items that are ON an objects will now also show, in addition to things that are IN it, when you try to 'LOOK IN' that object.
* The stat used for the 'teach language' ability is now Logic rather than Finesse...
* Couple issues fixed with viewing fabrications -- there shouldn't be any more tracebacks when looking at raiment fabrications, and materials and supplies needed for the craft should now display more smoothly.
* Several issues fixed with the FTB command -- nullify works properly now, you can use more than 200 characters in a summary, the response is also limited to the same amount of characters (500), and you can select wounds to be 'none', and if you select wounds they will now work beyond blunt and cutting damage (aligning with the inflict update).
* It's now possible for staff to open OOCwhisper connections to NPCs as well as PCs (necessity for SNPCs).
* Couriers will no longer return to the sender without a message if they are unable to find the recipient -- they will just go to the post office and get the message logged there. So, theoretically, couriers are faster if the target is online -- but otherwise, they're just an extension of the postal system now.

* Some bad wording fixed in the menu chargen.
05/03/2024
* Fixed a problem with accepting changes in chargen.

* Queued Stories are now shown in the Game Data page, along with your position in the queue, if you are logged in.
* The bug with lodgings not charging rent to people who didn't have autopay set is fixed now (and everyone who had double money taken from their bank accounts due to auto-pay will have the money refunded as follies in their coinpurse).
05/02/2024
* The FABRICATIONS VIEW command should work now.
* You can no longer decrease skills lower than zero or set up magic skills in character generation, and upper skill assignment thresholds have been set according to age.

05/01/2024
* It's possible to view bloodberry brambles without tracebacks now.
* Looking at NPCs will show a line at the end -- if they have been logged-into or are being animated, they will appear more attentive, and otherwise it will show that they seem currently busy.
* NPCs should now show on who and where if they're logged-into. (Note: animated NPCs won't show, only NPCs that have been logged-into.)

* The 'Purpose' field has been added to SNPCs, making it so that OOC purpose as well as IC quest is shown to the player of a SNPC.
* Throwing people should work again.
* Indoors rooms have been patched to have their environments 'Indoors' rather than 'None' or anything else.
* Timeslot readings when logging in are more precise now, report anything weird-looking please.
* There's now an activity meter and 'Demographics' is not just demographics but 'Game Data' too. (Obviously some parts of this won't be accurate until the data gets filled out through time.)
04/30/2024
* New feature: Support NPCs. (Check the forum announce post and HELP SNPC.)
* Some issues fixed with pick-a-pack rides.
* Points to next level of account presence should now hopefully display accurately in the account logged-in screen!
* Unapproved characters can no longer accrue login Presence.
04/26/2024
* It's now possible to miss when throwing at inanimate objects, and the dice roll becomes more difficult the farther away the target is.
04/25/2024
* Staves (at least, newly-made ones) will now only do blunt damage rather than cutting.
* -Only- specific snow objects should be splattering apart dramatically when they impact now.
* The throwing code has been tweaked to work in a more uniform and reliable manner with things breaking and spilling accordingly.
* Throwing weapon skills now factor heavily into the equation regarding aim with attempting to throw knives, bolas, boomerangs, javelins, one-handed axes, or other 'thrown edges'.

04/21/2024

Chests, wardrobes, and some other furnishing will be available at the Salter & Sons store in St Loomis. A couple very evasive bugs with carpentry have been finally squashed.
04/20/2024

* HELP LODGING and HELP GO have been updated with more documentation regarding how to visit other people's lodgings.
* You can now go to a lodging as 'my room' even if you are a roommate only, and not the primary lodger, and someone can 'go to <blah>'s room' even if blah is a just a roommate, too.
* Esteem collection should run reliably on the second of the month.
* The story collection should work properly only on a character's highest-invested story now, and it should be reliably scheduled for in-game 'evening' on the first day of each month.
* A lot of things would get sneaky zeros in them, hopefully this won't be happening at all anymore (at least not for new items).
* People's names will no longer show when inquiring about their reputation in an area. A couple glitches with eavesdropping and fixed.
* If you don't know a language at all, it is now possible to learn it by exposure (though it's slow). It should have been possible previously, but was prevented due to a bug which is now fixed.
04/19/2024
* The smithing, leatherworking, and tailoring abilities of repair, patch, and mend have been added, respectively.
* The 'touchup' ability has been added to the painting skill, to allow for adding happy little trees on top of accidental art mistakes.
* When publishing performances, you can now put the following tags in for the sake of personalizing a performance without making it impossible for another person to repeat: <eyecolor>, <haircolor>, <skincolor>, <voicetype>, <they>, <them>, <their>, <theirs>. (More information in HELP PERFORM).
* Fixed the issue with lit hearths sometimes looking like they're dark.
* The way auto-queries work when sending mail to NPCs has been fixed, as it wasn't working right.
