Now that it's almost March, I thought it would be helpful to everyone for us to provide another update on the current schedule for Avaria's ongoing alpha phase.
First and foremost, people can still expect to set sail for Omrazir in the spring, though it's going to be a little later in spring than I originally hoped for. This will probably happen somewhere around later April/early May, and then there will of course be sailing time of possibly 3 weeks after that. So if all goes well ( 
), everyone should get to actually set foot in Omrazir itself by June. (Please nobody hold to me that though because LIFE IS UNCERTAIN.)
In the meantime there will continue to be storyline developments in St. Loomis, which will hopefully create a natural-feeling conclusion by the time the ship sails. This is not to say that all the ongoing plotlines and mysteries will actually be all wrapped up by this time, because A LOT of different story threads (most of them, really) will remain open and available to pursue in the future, both back in St. Loomis and in connection with Omrazir. But I'm hoping it ends up feeling like a reasonably satisfying point of embarkation onto even more and different stories.
Originally these plot developments were planned for March/early April, but what with so many people being off on various lengths of hiatus for the month of March, this will probably now be pushed back a little bit. This actually ends up working out pretty well for me, because long story short I have spent a ridiculous amount of time being just stupidly sick since basically right after Christmas, and not having planned for this at all (LIFE, I say, IS NOT A STRANGER TO UNCERTAINTY), it has wreaked havoc with my original development schedule. So pushing back story stuff until April/May will allow me to put a lot more time and focus into Omrazir during the month of March.
That said, there will still be some little things happening here and there during the next month, and I will not just be stopping my SPC interactions for the whole time! They'll probably just be a little shorter or less frequent, and it may take me (even) longer to react to queries and correspondence. Also, people are obviously still welcome to OOCmail me about any little lore questions they might have, or contact either me or Pilgrim about story things and plot hooks.
