As kind of a last big-scale social event, I thought it would be fun to put on a public Midsummer's Eve cutscene at Greyleigh Manor for everyone to participate in. This would give even non-peak hour players a chance to join in, and also let me play far more than the approximately 2.5 NPCs I can handle at my normal in-game max. 😂 This will be a very informal scene, with a chance to take part in some activities using stat/skill rolls and ✨ the power of imagination ✨. Midsummer's Eve/Day will be June 23/24, so if I get a chance I might set this up tonight, or if not, definitely tomorrow. It will then stay open for the next week or so for people to hang out.
If anyone feels that their character absolutely would not for any legitimate IC reason be caught dead going to Greyleigh Manor for parties and games, let me know and I can come up with a second smaller cutscene to fit in with Midsummer and give any such antisocial joy-hating curmudgeons somewhere to slouch around sullenly. If this happens, I may also try some experimental shenanigans to tie the cutscenes together in some way...
