Character Art Generators

I keep coming across new and different character generators and I think it'd be useful to maintain a list! If anyone had any they like, feel free to post here.

In addition to these, there's also midjourney and other AI art generators that can get you character portraits. 

Edit: We've decided not to encourage the use of AI art, and stop using it ourselves for NPC portraits. That doesn't mean we'll necessarily be redoing all old NPC portraits, but just that going forward, if we decide that something needs to be made more artistic and customized, we will search for a sentient artist. If players want to use AI artwork for character portraits, that's fine -- we aren't going to enforce any rules related to this or even make any formal requests. However, we really don't want players to be using AI writing generators for roleplay.

Hey Pilgrim, I just wanted to throw this out there: I really respect your guys' take on the use of AI art generators, and wanted to offer some art for the game (gratis) if you'd like to use it. I'm an illustrator, and would love to contribute a bit when I have some free time (which I happen to at the moment!). It would probably be on the sketchier side, but DM me if you'd like to talk about where you could use some illustration.

That's amazing. That drawing of Rhua is seriously great, and your instagram page is full of amazing illustrations. Love the dynamic poses and fantasy/anime vibes. Reminds me of like... a cross between the Legend of Vox Machina and Howl's Moving Castle, or something like that. I'm super impressed to know an artist with those kinds of professional skills who's willing to invest some time, and we may take you up on that!  But please don't feel beholden by any means.

If at any point the inspiration hits and you want to draw a particular place/person/thing in Song of Avaria, I'd love to see it. Maybe we could use it somewhere with your permission. 

I was thinking the other day of how Briddim-rhua's portrait is so charming and evocative, and I'm blown away to learn you drew it yourself! Some of your latest artwork remind me of Moebius/Jean Giraud, whose style I love. Thank you for sharing!

He also drew ROSTAM for me, and it's amazing!

On the topic of character generators:

I love picrew, but as any of you who might've spent time there would know, there are... a LOT of them. And even if you like a cartoony or stylized look, the vast majority don't really suit the kind of characters this game would have...

And so! I am here to kick off a "share your picrew finds that might actually work for this game" exchange! These are a variety of character makers that I tried out and thought were promising:
